Limiting your new dog's freedom!
Freedom, When introducing your new dog into your home. One of the many errors we make as new dog owners, is allowing our dogs to have to much freedom in our house way to soon. Sometimes when we as humans are in a completely new place without any familiar faces or sounds, we can get a little anxious or overwhelmed. Dogs are the same way. Allowing our dogs to have free rome of the whole house can lead to potty accidents and destructive chewing. Close off doors or use baby gates to let your new dog gradually get adjusted to his new home. Let your new dog earn the freedom in your house. This way, chaos for the first couple of weeks while you and your dog are adjusting, will be limited.
